Woot! The beans in the container garden on my tiny back porch have sprouted lovely little white blossoms.  I can't white until they become beans.  It has been nice just to have some green around to perk the place up though.

I'm super excited.  There was a tiny bare patch in the back of the house where grass wasn't even growing.  My landlady suggested that we could garden there if we were so inclined.  I planted some pumpkins, sunflowers, and even a few wild raspberries and evergreens from around the yard that were growing in really inconvenient places.  I'm so happy that I have a lush green patch of life to show for all of my efforts! Yay!
